My Full Story
Hi, I’m Gayle — the woman behind The Woman In Me.
I created this space because there came a point in my life where I simply didn’t feel like myself anymore.
I was exhausted all the time.
Emotional over the smallest things.
Struggling to sleep.
Overwhelmed mentally and physically.
Some days I felt anxious for no reason.
Other days I felt invisible.
I remember looking in the mirror thinking:
“Who even is this woman?”
And the hardest part was trying to keep functioning normally while silently struggling inside.
Like so many women, I kept showing up for everyone else — family, work, responsibilities — while completely neglecting myself because I didn’t understand what was happening to my body.
Nobody really prepares women for hormonal changes, perimenopause, or menopause.
People talk about hot flashes…
But they don’t talk enough about the emotional exhaustion, the brain fog, the mood swings, the loss of confidence, or the feeling that you’ve somehow lost a part of yourself.
I started researching because I was desperate to feel better.
Not perfect.
Just… myself again.
That journey led me to learning more about women’s hormone health, natural wellness support, menopause care, emotional wellbeing, and the importance of finally listening to our bodies instead of pushing through burnout.
The Woman In Me was created to be a safe, honest, supportive space for women who are struggling silently and searching for answers.
A place where women can feel seen, understood, supported, and empowered.
I share resources, products, stories, and wellness support that may help other women navigate this season of life with more understanding and less shame.
Because no woman should feel alone in this journey.
And if you’re here because you’ve been feeling tired, emotional, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply “not yourself” lately…
Please know:
You are not broken.
You are not failing.
And you are definitely not alone.
With love,
Gayle
